After retiring from his CPA practice in 2024, Joe Wargo founded Secured Capital Resources LLC, a Texas-based private mortgage note brokerage dedicated to serving licensed professionals and their clients.

Joe realized that licensed professionals serve clients under strict legal and ethical standards, setting them apart from ordinary note buyers and sellers.

That’s why he built Secured Capital Resources—to deliver strategies that honor those standards and build trust.

With decades of expertise in accounting, finance, tax, and real estate investment, Joe offers a holistic approach to every transaction for realtors, attorneys, financial advisors, and mortgage professionals.

Before founding Secured Capital Resources, Joe led his own public accounting practice in Texas. He continues to hold the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is also a Certified Specialist in Management Consulting—the only professional with this dual credential in Texas and one of just seven in the United States. These distinctions underscore his commitment to the highest standards of financial professionalism.

Joe’s career includes experience with two of the “Big 4” global accounting firms and the Texas State Auditor’s Office. He has also served as a Controller in both U.S. and international settings, and is fluent in Spanish—further expanding his ability to serve diverse clients and markets.
